FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before scheduling an appointment to have your miner setup, please read the FAQs in preparation of the setup. To avoid delays and cancelations, additional setup on your part will be required before I can setup your miner remotely. Follow the instructions and FAQs to ensure that you are ready to hire me.

ASIC MINER READINESS & MINING PRE-REQUISITES
Question 1? - Internet Status

Do you have a dedicated internet connection for our remote setup? I do not recommend that you use WIFI doing our zoom remote session. This may slow down our connection and the speed for which I can complete the task without any network drops or disconnections.  (Y/N)

Question 2? - Computer Literacy Status

Are you computer literate enough to understand technically terms and /or directions given? (Y/N)

Question 3? - Login Access

Do you know the login password to your computer if we need to install additional software on that computer? Please have it ready if needed.

Question 4? - Itemized Checklist

Based on the number of miner(s) being setup, do you have the following items? Feel free to write your answer to each question below.

  1. A Network router?
     
  2. Login User Name and Password access for that router?
     
  3. A spare patch cable / ethernet cable?
     
  4. Is your miner already plugged in or have been powered up at least once?
     
  5. Do you know your miner’s IP address?

Question 5? - Setup Location

What is the location where your miner will be installed at? You should consider the noise level of that miner and where it will be placed. Please chose 1 location.

Question 6? - Proper Wattage Check

Do you have the proper wattage to power up the miner without a power failure? If yes what is the wattage for the miner(s) being setup?

Question 7? - Miner Hashrate Status

What is the hashrate of each miner being installed? If you do not know, leave it blank.

#1 - hashrate range (1Kh/s – 950Gh/s)
 
#2 - hashrate range (1Th/s – 40Th/s)
 
#3 - hashrate range (45Th/s – 140Th/s)

Question 8? - Miner's Ventilation Status

Is your miner properly placed and ventilated to avoid overheating or cooling off?

Question 9? - Mining Pool Selection

Do you have a mining pool in mind or will you need me to set one up for you? I have 1 of 3 recommended pool options that I use frequently. See List

Question 10? - Crypto Transfer Address

Do you have your crypto address ready to be connected to the mining pool?

If you answered no to answers 2 and 3, I highly recommend that you purchase my ASIC Mining Fundamental Overview class first or pay for an additional hour to have all the missing items be setup first before purchasing this service.
